on June 14–15, 2023

Dear colleagues,

We would like to invite you to participate in the 12^th International Scientific-Practical Conference titled “Experience in Manufacturing and Using Cellular Autoclave-Hardened Concrete,” which will be held on June 14–15, 2023, in an online format.

Despite the extremely difficult situation in the world and in an effort to overcome the lack of communication among the members of our professional community, the Organizing Committee of our traditional forum deems necessary to preserve and maintain this important communication platform in an online format to allow the market participants to unite to deal with the current challenges.

The Conference objectives, including the analysis of the professional production experience and the issues associated with the use of concrete materials in various regions, promoting the advanced scientific developments and technological solutions, discussing the issues related to their implementation, strengthening the existing and establishing new business contacts, remain the same, and more important than ever.

Although the online format cannot replace personal communication, it immeasurably expands the geography of the forum participants providing the opportunity to participate in live discussions and interactive deliberations from anywhere in the world. For example, the previous conference was attended by about 100 representatives of various companies and organizations from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Estonia, and China.

We invite aerated concrete production experts, equipment manufacturers, suppliers of raw materials, spare parts and consumables, software products, representatives of research, design, construction organizations to discuss a wide range of topical issues in the cellular concrete industry to ensure the effective use of the concrete products.    

Of particular value to the industry, as shown by many years of experience in holding conferences, are the materials presented by the CIS leading scientific centers, including the BelNIIS Institute Republican Unitary Enterprise, the Institute NIISM SE,  the NIPTIS Housing Institute named after Atayev S.S., the Union of Builders of the Republic of Belarus, the BSTU and BNTU educational institutions (Minsk, Belarus), the NIIZHB named after A.A. Gvozdev, the Construction Research Center JSC (Moscow, Russia), the Cellular Concrete Center (St. Petersburg), NAAG of the RF, etc.

 

Topics of papers, presentations, discussions

• industry development trends and prospects, analysis of markets in neighboring countries;
• specific features of equipment upgrade and modernization of production lines;
• optimization of production, utilization of new materials, equipment and technologies that increase the production efficiency and the quality of products;
• improving the working properties of materials using chemical additives and microfibers, research in the field of three-dimensional reinforcement;
• using innovative engineering and organizational solutions, information technologies in the field of industrial process control;
• specific features and practice of utilization of structural heat-insulating products made of low-density cellular concrete; expanding the range of products for prefabricated construction;
• experience in design and construction of energy-efficient residential buildings using cellular concrete as a main structural material.

To enter the conference, a participant should follow the access link sent by the Organizers to the participant’s e-mail address.

 

The online Conference Program includes:

- talk and paper presentation 15 to 20 minutes long (online talk, playing a pre-prepared video file including the talk and paper presentation, photos);

- participation in online live discussions and interactive deliberations;

- publishing the electronic scientific Collection of Papers ‒ an official publication, edited and prepared for printing with the publisher's imprint, the assigned international ISBN, UDC, LBC indices, a copyright mark, automatic navigation to any part of the content, a generic table of contents and cross-references to various sections, printed in the pdf format. All papers presented by the speakers at the Conference will be published in the Collection of Conference Proceedings.

 

At the end of the conference, all participants will get access to the video files with the paper presentations, the recordings of the discussions, the presentations, the list of participants, and a link to the Collection of Papers in the pdf format.

Based on the results of the professional discussions held at the Conference, the Conference participants will provide their recommendations, which will be published on the Organizers’ website at www.architec.by and mailed out to the Conference participants.

The Organizing Committee is convinced that the Conference will contribute to scientific research, the current methods of production and utilization of concrete materials, increase the cohesion of the professional community, and serve to unite the efforts aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of autoclaved aerated concrete in the market.

Terms of Participation

 

The Collection of Conference Proceedings will be published no later than June 30 and available on the Organizers' website at www.architec.by.

Technical requirements for papers (articles) submitted
for publication in the Collection of Conference Materials:

    • text length: 10,000 to 15,000 characters (with spaces) in the Word text editor;

    • title of paper (article);

    • authors’ names (academic degrees, titles);

    • position;

    • authors’ photos;

    • company name;

    • company logo;

    • images (photos, diagrams, graphs, plots) should be duplicated as separate files;

    • image resolution: 150 to 300 dpi;

    • bibliography.

Technical requirements for modular/image advertising
for publication in the Collection of Conference Materials:

    • size: A4 (210x297 mm);

    • use one of the following formats: .jpg, .tiff, eps (fonts in curves);

    • resolution: 150 to 300 dpi;

    • RGB color model.
